Salvation Army Raising Funds For “Project Stay In Your Home”

The local Salvation Army is raising money to help people avoid homelessness. On Thursday, some Redding area businesses will donate 15 percent of their profits to “Project Stay In Your Home”. Last year, with $15,000, the program helped 31 families keep living in their homes, keeping 78 people from becoming homeless. The goal this year is $25,000 which would enable the program to help keep 50 families in their homes. Participating businesses include the Country Kitchen on Hilltop Drive, Becca’s Restaurant in Anderson and the three Redding locations of McDonald’s. Also, therapy associates is sharing their profits.
