U.S. Marshall’s Office Holding Auction For Seized Vehicles

If you’ve never been to a car auction, this may be one to attend. The U.S. Marshall’s Office is holding an auction of seized vehicles on Saturday, October 26th. The lineup includes about 150 classic, luxury and performance vehicles from a federal civil case involving the owners of the defunct solar company. Among the vehicles available classic 1960’s Ford Mustangs, 1990’s Humvees, a 1960 Austin-Healey, and even a 1978 Pontiac Trans Am that was owned by Burt Reynolds as a memento of the car he drove in the movie ‘Smokey And The Bandit’”. The auction will be held at Apple Towing, 550 North Pioneer Avenue in Woodland. The auction will also be simulcast on the web, so people can participate without having to attend in person. An auction preview will take place on Thursday and Friday, October 24th and 25th. Prebidding is currently underway at appleauctioneeringco.com.
