A Redding woman and a Red Bluff woman were both killed in a utility vehicle crash on Sunday. 77-year-old William Quinn was behind the wheel of a Polaris Ranger on his property on Vestal Road west of Red Bluff at 4 O’clock Sunday afternoon. He had three passengers on the vehicle and nobody was wearing a seatbelt. The CHP says Quinn was driving down a large hill when he lost control and the Polaris ran into a tree, then rolled over several times. 33-year-old Kaitlin Schori of Redding and 57-year-old Kerry Fitzgerald of Red Bluff were both killed. A 3-year-old girl who was sitting in Schori’s lap sustained minor injuries. Quinn was taken by helicopter to Mercy Hospital in Redding with major injuries.
