A black column of smoke could be seen just east of the Pine Grove area of Shasta Lake City Friday afternoon. A mobile home was fully involved in fire, with flames spreading to vegetation. It was located off of Crooked Oak Lane east of Twin View Boulevard. The fire started at around 2:30PM and the forward progress of the vegetation fire was halted by around 3PM after burning about a quarter acre of thick brush.The mobile home was a complete loss.
