Redding Police say a man tried to flush his troubles away when officers came knocking at his door Thursday. The Neighborhood Police Unit had been investigating a suspected drug house on Parsons Drive for about a month. It’s the home of 18-year-old Carson Campbell. When officers entered the apartment they reportedly found Campbell frantically trying to flush his drugs down the toilet. Officers say they recovered about 5 ounces of heroin and a lot of pills. Campbell was booked into jail for drug sales and destroying evidence.
