Men Pistol Whipped, Another Shot During Armed Robbery

Details are pretty vague concerning an armed invasion of a property in the Oak Run area. Shasta County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched at 2 O’clock Friday morning to Frontier Road. They were told that several people wearing masks arrived at around 1AM and confronted the four victims. One man was pistol-whipped, causing an injury to his head and another man had a wound on his lower leg from being grazed by a bullet. The victims were then tied up with electrical cords and left in a dilapidated shed while the robbers ransacked the property before leaving. The victims were able to wiggle out of their restraints and then called for help. They were given medical treatment at the scene but all refused transport for further treatment. Deputies say they were given inconsistent stories about the incident and haven’t determined how many robbers there were or what was stolen. Anyone with information can call 245-6540.
