Small Business Owners May Qualify For Short-Term Loans

Northstate small business owners have been hurting with the loss of revenue due to the PG&E power shutoffs. A federal agency is offering a possible solution. Superior California Economic Development -SCED- is the federally designated regional district serving Shasta, Siskiyou, Modoc and Trinity Counties. The SCED is offering short-term loans for the purchase of back-up generators for impacted businesses so they can remain open and serve their communities. Loans can be approved and funded in as few as three days. Applications are available at scedd.org/contact or by calling 225-2760.
