An arrest has been made for the murder of Larissa Marie Cole. The body of the 20-year-old woman was found behind Viking Skate Country Sunday afternoon. After interviewing multiple witnesses and collecting a lot of evidence, Redding Police investigators Tuesday identified 21-year-old Jerome Denell Dzwonek as their suspect. He was detained and questioned, and a search warrant was served for his vehicle and his home on Butte Street. Several items of incriminating evidence were apparently found. During questioning, Dzwonek allegedly confessed to strangling Larissa during an argument and discarding her body behind the skating rink. He’s been booked into jail on One Million Dollars bail.
