A Red Bluff man who was busted with steroids after getting drunk and shooting his gun in the middle of the night has been sentenced. A little after 2AM on March 25th, Tehama County Sheriff’s Deputies responded a home on Warren Avenue on a report of shots fired. When they arrived, Johnny James Davis got into his car and drove up and down his driveway yelling profanities at the deputies before trying to leave. He was detained, and was apparently very intoxicated. Drug agents were called to search the house and they found an AR-15 rifle with high capacity magazines as well as several large vials of anabolic steroids worth around $75,000, along with evidence that he had been selling the steroids. Davis has been sentenced to 270 days in jail, 80 hours community service and 5 years formal probation. Because of his felony conviction, he can no longer possess a gun.
