A truck nearly went into the Trinity River Thursday night. A little before 10:30PM a 2 axle flatbed truck hauling a load of hay left the roadway near Big Bar and overturned down a steep embankment and landed at the river’s edge. The driver suffered a head injury, according to the CHP. The truck will be pulled back up to the road Friday morning.
