Traffic on Interstate 5 was diverted overnight due to a vehicle fire. The CHP says a pickup truck caught fire at around 1:45AM just north of the exit to the Cottonwood Scales. The pickup was soon fully engulfed in flames. All northbound freeway traffic was diverted through the scales for about an hour while the fire was extinguished.
