Brother Arrested After Shots Are Fired In Shasta Lake

Shots were fired during an argument between brothers at a home in Shasta Lake City Thursday night, according to the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office. Just before 7 O’clock, deputies were sent to a Beacon Street house. They say the resident reported being assaulted with some sort of blunt force object by his brother, 56-year-old Terry Fannin. The victim said an argument started after Fannin, who does not live there, damaged a fence. The man said he fired a gun into the ground to scare Fannin away and keep him from hurting him further. Fannin was later found by deputies at the Circle K on Shasta Dam Boulevard. He reportedly admitted to some of the accusations, and he was booked into jail for assault with a deadly weapon.
