The grandson of former Shasta County Supervisor Trish Clarke is a world champion horseman. 17-year-old Gavin Clarke has won the $35,000 Non-Pro Division and World Finals Championship at the National Cutting Horse Association World Finals in Texas. Trish bought Gavin his first cutting horse at the age of 15 and he’s been a rising force in the world of cutting horses ever since.
