RPD Releases Surveillance Images Of Suspects Who Broke Into Antique Store

A Downtown Redding antique store was broken into Wednesday night. Shortly after 10 O’clock a burglar alarm sent Redding Police to Memory Lane Antiques on Pine Street at Placer. The front glass door had been shattered, but the thieves were gone when officers arrived. Several glass display cases had been shattered and an unknown amount of collector coins and jewelry was taken. The burglars were caught on surveillance and the photos are on the KQMS Facebook Page, but they’re pretty fuzzy. One of the suspects looked to be a white man in his mid-30’s wearing a gray hoodie, a blue cap and brown boots. He appeared to have a handgun in his hand pointing it in front of him as he entered. The other suspect is a black man in his mid-30’s with a black Nike hoodie, black sweatpants, a white cap with a red brim and red and white athletic shoes. The owner of the store said both men had been there at around 4PM Wednesday afternoon.
