There were multiple injuries from a crash in Downtown Shingletown Tuesday afternoon. A little after 4 O’clock a black SUV collided head-on with a UPS Truck at the intersection of Highway 44 and Emigrant Trail. With the eastbound lane blocked, traffic apparently backed up badly. A helicopter transported at least one of the patients, who suffered a broken leg and had to be extricated from the wreckage. Medics on scene reported one patient with major injuries and 3 others with minor injuries.
