Redding Winery Awarded Gold Medals At Prestigious Competition

A small winemaker based in Redding has performed very well in a prestigious San Francisco competition. There over 7,000 wines from more than a thousand wineries entered into the S.F. Chronicle Wine Competition. It’s the largest contest of North American wines in the world. The results were announced Sunday and in the end the 65 judges chose six wines from Moseley Family Cellars. The six Moseley winners included two gold medalist’s: the 2014 Petite Syrah and the 2015 Merlot. Moseley Family Cellars selects its grapes from various regions in California and Oregon, and then they do the harvest, crush, aging and bottling a their winery on Mountain Lakes Boulevard in Redding.
