The 71st annual Sierra-Cascade Logging Conference and Equipment Expo gets underway Thursday morning at the fairgrounds in Anderson. The latest in logging equipment is on display, including an impressive array of state-of-the-art equipment that’s part of a Shasta College training program. There are many informational events during the conference, as well as the equipment skills competitions, logging sports exhibitions and the “World’s Strongest Logger”. Almost every event is free.
