Three Cited & Released For Not Sending Students To School

Tehama County has brought the hammer down on some parents for failing to get their kids to school. District attorney investigators working with the county schools office made three arrests, two in Red Bluff and one in Corning, for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The three people were not taken into custody, but rather were released on citations. The D.A.’s Office says such legal actions are the last resort after all other resources have been exhausted and excessive truancy continues.
