Police Arrest Suspect Who Allegedly Robbed North Redding CVS Store

Arrests have been made in the February 5th robbery of a North Redding drug store. Redding Police were called to the CVS Pharmacy on Lake Boulevard after an armed robbery occurred. The suspects fled in a newer model grey Nissan sedan, which responding officers spotted on Southbound Interstate 5 near Cypress. They tried to stop it but it led them on a chase, leaving the freeway at Riverside Avenue in Anderson and then to Loop Street, where the robbers abandoned the car and fled on foot. The area was searched and an RPD K9 was used to try and track them but they were not found. However, evidence left behind in the car led investigators to 21-year-old Vannoy Sutton and 24-year-old Daelen Robinson, both of Bakersfield. Arrest warrants were acquired and Bakersfield Police were contacted. Sutton was found Thursday and Robinson was in the Kern County Jail from an unrelated case. Both await transport to Shasta County. A third robber is still unidentified.
