A woman reported missing from Susanville has been found safe in Susanville, but the man accused of abducting her is still being sought by the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office. Officials are no longer looking for Dorothie Janaybean Crosby. On Monday the sheriff’s office said 41-year-old Maitland Carpenter had taken Crosby against her will. Carpenter is considered armed and dangerous. He may be driving a gold Hyundai Santa Fe with license number 5XIL173. Photos are on the KQMS Facebook Page.
