After two years of speculation and anticipation, that large fenced off construction zone where sears used to be will again welcome shoppers. The Mount Shasta Mall has been without and anchor at the west end since the closure of Sears in March of 2018. On February 26, Sprouts Farmers Market will celebrate with a 7AM ribbon cutting. The grocery store says it specializes in fresh, natural and organic foods and they pride themselves in donating to the hungry and minimizing waste. A couple of weeks later, on March 15th, Homegoods will open. Homegoods says they offer home fashions from around the world. The company also owns TJ Maxx across the street.
