A woman died in a rollover crash off the freeway at Shasta Lake City. Shortly after 5 O’clock Sunday morning, somebody noticed a white Dodge Neon with its lights still on that appeared to have crashed into a wooded area off the sweeping northbound Interstate Five exit to Shasta Dam Boulevard. The CHP says the car had rolled over several times, caving in much of the driver’s side. The 19-year-old driver was wearing her seatbelts, and airbags deployed, but she was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name will be made public after family is notified.
