A home in Redding’s Garden Tract was damaged by fire Sunday. Just after 10AM Redding Firefighters were called to a two-story apartment building at 855 Locust Street. They found the fire burning on a corner of the building and spreading to the second floor. They had the fire out within about 20 minutes, saving much of the structure. Damage is estimated at $20,000 for the structure and another $10,000 for the contents. One person had to be transported to a hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation. The cause is under investigation.
