A Redding man ran from officers after a traffic stop, according to Redding Police. A car was stopped at 9:30PM Wednesday night for expired registration. As soon as the car slowed to a stop, the driver jumped out and ran away. After a foot chase, 50-year-old Oney Rhoades was captured. He reportedly had about 16 Grams of Methamphetamine on him and enough money to charge him with possession for sale, as well as resisting arrest. Rhoades had an active warrant and is on Post Release Supervision from a 2015 domestic violence conviction.
