Public Asked To Donate Unused Equipment To Help Local 1st Responders

As the medical community runs short of personal protective equipment, a number of local businesses and individuals have offered supplies they had stockpiled, including masks left over from the Carr Fire. Shasta County Health and Human Services is now putting the call out for donations of these items:

N95 masks, surgical masks, face shields, clear safety goggles, thermometers, nitrile gloves, medical gowns, sanitation cloths, toilet paper and paper towels. The goods should be taken to a drop off point at Bethel Church at the west end of College View Drive Monday through Friday between 9AM and 4PM.
