K9 Helps APD Arrest Wanted Felon

Faced with the possibility of dog bites, a wanted man surrendered to Anderson Police on Sunday. APD Officers accompanied by Iro the K9 had gone to a home on Mill Street looking for 36-year-old Teo Raymond, who had an active felony warrant for violating the terms of his post release supervision. He had originally been convicted of felony domestic violence. When officers arrived, they saw Raymond in a nearby field. When they confronted him, Raymond reportedly fled over fences and through the backyards of neighboring homes. He was tracked by Iro to a hiding place in someone’s yard. When threatened with Iro, Raymond immediately surrendered. He’s in custody on a no-bail hold.
