Friday Update: No New Cases Of COVID-19 Reported In Shasta County

There are no new cases of Coronavirus reported by Shasta County Public Health in the last 24 hours, but another patient has recovered. The total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 is still 24. Three people have died from the virus. Three others have recovered, leaving 18 active cases in isolation. 594 COVID tests in Shasta County have shown negative results. 51 people are currently under quarantine orders due to possible exposure to an infected person.

Cal-Vet says one resident and four staff members of the Redding Veterans home on Knighton Road have tested positive.

Members of Faith Assembly Church on Airport Road in Redding who attended an event there on March 14th or 15th should inform all their close contacts that they may have been exposed.

A female Shasta College student in her 20’s may have exposed others while at the Shasta College Health Sciences Building in Downtown Redding on March 12th.

Tehama County has one confirmed Coronavirus case. Siskiyou County has 4, but 3 have recovered. Butte County has 13. Humboldt County has 50. There are none reported in Trinity, Lassen or Modoc Counties.
