1 New Case Of COVID-19 Reported In Past Week

Shasta County had no new Coronavirus cases Wednesday, and there’s only been one added in the past 7 days, for a total of 25. Three Shasta County residents have died from the virus. A total of 13 have now recovered, leaving 7 active cases in isolation. Two patients are hospitalized. 778 COVID tests have shown negative results. 48 people are currently under quarantine orders due to possible exposure.

More testing is now available in Shasta County. Anyone with the symptoms of COVID-19, including fever, cough and shortness of breath, should request a test from their healthcare provider or public health at 225-5591.

Tehama County’s only confirmed Coronavirus patient died Monday at Mercy Hospital in Redding. butte county has 16 cases. Siskiyou County has 5, but 3 have recovered. Humboldt County has 52. Glenn County has 4. There are still none reported in Trinity, Lassen or Modoc Counties.
