A common scam, among many taking advantage of Coronavirus fears, is being delivered by text. It tells the target that they have come into contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. The text includes a link. That link should absolutely not be tapped, and the text should be deleted. This is not a method that public health uses to contact people exposed to infected patients.
