Shasta College has been selected as one of 80 sites statewide that will be able help the state increase testing for COVID-19. The site is scheduled to open on Thursday and is being funded through a partnership with Optumserve which is a federal government health services business. The site will be available to healthcare and other essential workers by appointment only, including people with no symptoms. If you are a healthcare worker you can make an appointment before May 1st by calling 1-888-634-1123. after May 1st online appointments can be made online.
