A man was arrested for a stabbing in North Redding Wednesday night. Officers were called a little after 9:30PM to the Raley’s Shopping Center off Lake Boulevard, where they found 53-year-old Robert Southerland suffering from multiple stab wounds to his abdomen. He was transported to a hospital and he is expected to survive. An investigation led police to 36-year-old Joshua James O’Leary of Clovis. He and Southerland have a history of feuding and when they happened to meet in the parking lot a fight broke out. Police say that O’Leary fled the scene after the stabbing. Officers combed the area for two hours before finding O’Leary at the AM/PM across the street. He was booked into jail for assault with a deadly weapon.
