Redding’s Fireworks Display Will Go On, But With Crowd Restricitions

There will be fireworks this 4th of July in Redding, although the public won’t be allowed to view them on the grounds of the Civic Auditorium. The grounds of the civic will be closed to the public, which will affect the non-profit groups that usually sell food. The council also gave approval for the Redding Parks Department to go ahead with plans for Summer activities at the Aquatic Center, given the fact that chlorine and other chemicals in the pool would give adequate protection against the COVID-19 virus.
