Shasta College classes for the Fall are being prepared as an online experience. Because of the uncertainty about whether or not students will be allowed to gather in classrooms by the time the Fall semester begins, the online format is necessary from a planning perspective. It’s not possible for some instruction to be done at a distance, such as allied health, fire science, EMT and some other programs. They will be taught in a hybrid format, using online lectures and small groups for the in-person components. Decisions about on-campus events and athletics have not been made yet. Registration is currently open for the Summer and Fall sessions.
