Monday Update: 1st Case Of COVID-19 Reported In Trinity County

It has been nearly 2 weeks since Shasta County has seen a positive test for the Coronavirus, but Trinity County now has a reported case. The 1st case in Trinity County was reported Friday evening by Trinity County Health and Human Services. Public health officials are working to identify who the person was in contact with.

In Shasta County the last positive test was on April 28th. No one is currently hospitalized in Shasta County with COVID-19 and the number of cases remains at 31. So far 2,047 tests have been conducted. 6 people remain in quarantine, but no one is currently being isolated.

Tehama County’s only confirmed Coronavirus patient has died. Butte County has had 18 cases. Siskiyou County has had 5, but all have recovered. Glenn County has had 6. There have been 55 cases in Humboldt County. There are still none reported in Lassen or Modoc Counties.
