A woman has been hospitalized after jumping off the Antelope Boulevard Bridge in Red Bluff and missing the river, according to the Red Bluff Daily News. Shortly before 2 O’clock Tuesday afternoon witnesses say the unidentified woman was running on Rio Street and then onto Antelope before trying to jump into the Sacramento River. She instead landed on some rocks along the river’s edge near the Cornerstone Community Bank. It’s not known if she was running from something. She was transported to Saint Elizabeth Hospital with unknown injuries. Red Bluff Police have not said if they know her identity, but they say they believe she’s 39-years-old.
