Survey Will Help Shape How Public Health Money Will Be Spent

Shasta County Mental Health officials are seeking public input on how to spend public money. An online survey has been posted to gather opinions on what’s working and what needs improvement. Feedback will be used to develop the next 3 year program and expenditure plan. It’s not a matter of a lack of funding. Mental health programs are largely paid for by a statewide 1% tax on millionaires approved by voters in 2004. The survey can be found at shastamhsa.com.
