Teen Walking To School Assaulted, Suspect Arrested

A teenager was beaten and robbed in Anderson in what police believe was a case of mistaken identity. A little after 10AM Thursday morning a 19-year-old student was walking to North Valley High School when a car stopped behind him. The passenger got out and punched the teen twice in the face, then kicked him after he fell to the ground and stole his wallet. A school employee witnessed the attack and helped the victim, who told police he had never seen his attacker before. Surveillance footage from a nearby business led police to a Saab owned by an associate of 21-year-old Dylan Graham, who the victim identified in a photo lineup. Police say Graham mistook the victim for someone else, though Graham admitted nothing. He was booked for robbery and battery.
