Butte County reported its 1st death from COVID-19 Monday. Butte County Public Health says the patient was over 65-year-old and was hospitalized before passing away. The county said in a press released the patient suffered from multiple underlying health conditions. As of mid-day Monday the number of confirmed cases in Butte County remains at 44.
Shasta County’s Coronavirus count is up to 39 after two more were confirmed on Saturday. One is a woman in her 40’s with symptoms and the other is a woman in her 60’s with no symptoms. 4 people have died and 4 are in isolation. 20 people are quarantined due to possible exposure.
Tehama County has had 4, with one fatality. Trinity County has had one case. Humboldt County is up to 101, with two deaths. Siskiyou County has had 7. Del Norte County has had 45 cases. Glenn County has had 16. Lassen County has had 5. There are still none reported in Modoc County.
