Friday 2PM: New COVID-19 Cases In 4 North State Counties

Trinity County reported a new case of COVID-19 Friday. Trinity County now was 2 confirmed cases of the virus. The person who tested positive apparently did not show symptoms.

Two more COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Shasta County, for a total of 42, the latest being a man in his 70’s with symptoms and a woman in her 7’0s with no symptoms. 4 people have died and 7 are in isolation. 20 people are quarantined due to possible exposure.

Butte County has 5 more cases, for a total of 60, with one death. One person has died in Tehama County, which has now had 7 cases since a man in his 20’s was diagnosed Thursday. Trinity County has had one case. Humboldt County is up to 104, with two deaths. There have been 9 in Siskiyou County, 47 in Del Norte County, 17 in Glenn County and 5 in Lassen County. There are still none reported in Modoc County.
