Trinity County officials said Friday that Saturday is the deadline to apply for individual assistance from FEMA for survivors of the August Lightning Complex. Because Trinity County’s late inclusion in the disaster declaration was piggybacked onto the August Complex, homeowners and others affected late in the fire’s spread have had to accelerate the process of applying November 21st, which is Saturday.
