Over 1 Million Dollars Raised During Northstate Giving Tuesday

Northern Californians really stepped up Tuesday for 187 non-profit organizations, raising over a Million Dollars in the sixth annual Northstate Giving Tuesday. 8,088 donations of as little as $10 added up to $1,119,586. The top recipient was the Mount Shasta Museum Association, with nearly $55,000, followed by Exodus Farms Ministry in Shasta County, Save the Rain, which provides clean water systems for Africans, Haven Humane Society, and One Safe Place. The Community Foundation of the North State collects and administers the funds each year. Last year around $920,000 was raised. The only other year that broke the Million Dollar mark was 2017.
