Man Injured In Shooting At Rolling Hills Casino

A man was arrested for attempted murder after an incident early Saturday morning at Rolling Hills Casino in Corning. Tehama County Deputies, Corning Police and the CHP responded to the casino on reports of a shooting. After a brief investigation, they determined that 35-year-old John Matthew Justice had walked out of his hotel room and fired a single shot through the door of another room. The small caliber bullet struck a 36-year-old man, who was transported to a hospital with a non-life threatening injury. Justice was booked into jail. No information is available about the motive.
