Man Arrested 29 Times In 2020 Charged With Assault With A Deadly Weapon

An Anderson man has been designated a chronic offender after his 29th arrest of the year. On Wednesday police were called to the All-Star Sports Bar on Balls Ferry Road. A 62-year-old man said that 50-year-old Wyatt Hoban had tried to strike him with a large wooden object. He said he missed and struck the victim’s truck, causing over a Thousand Dollars damage. Hoban was found the following day and charged with assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism. The chronic offender status means Hoban will remain in jail through the court process.
