Man Arrested After Shooting Leaves 2 Injured Friday Night

A man has been arrested on double murder charges as well as for arson after a shooting incident in Redding Friday night. Officers were called to an apartment complex in the 600 block of Hartnell Avenue at around 8:40PM to check on a domestic disturbance where witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots. When officers arrived they found the disturbance had escalated and shots were reportedly fired by 36-year-old Benjamin Pouvi Fata, who had armed himself with an assault rifle.
