The Redding City Council got an update on Cares Funding to help individuals and businesses affected locally by the COVID-19 pandemic. City Manager Barry Tippin praised the council for it’s action, taken almost a year ago to help stimulate the local economy. That included using over $11 Million Dollars in Cap and Trade funds to help customers pay their electric bills. Tippin said there is still some money available in block grants being offered by the city and the Chamber of Commerce to help struggling businesses.
