Two people are dead following a crash off Southbound Interstate 5 early Wednesday morning. At around 4:15AM a Toyota Corolla flew off the freeway about a half mile north of the Sacramento River Bridge where the freeway takes a slight curve. After striking a large Oak Tree the mangled car caromed across Riverland Drive and came to rest against a utility pole. Both occupants were killed.
