The giant American Flag on North Bechelli Lane in Redding was at half staff Thursday in honor of a fallen Shasta County Marshal. Dave Eoff was also a former Shasta County Sheriff’s Deputy, and other members of the Eoff family have served in various local law enforcement agencies over the years. Dozens of law enforcement officers, family and well-wishers gathered for a pre-dawn memorial Thursday at the flag.
