Supervisors To Consider Land Donation From SPI For New Fire Station

A new fire station may be coming to North Anderson. The Shasta County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday will consider accepting a donated 2 acre parcel from Sierra Pacific Industries on Riverside Avenue. The plot would be home to a fire station that would be up to 10,000 square feet. The estimated cost of the project is $7 Million. If no construction contract is awarded by the end of next year, the land would revert back to Sierra Pacific.
