Shasta County’s jobs picture had only a slight improvement overall last month, but one particularly hard hit industry showed a big jump. The 7.8% unemployment rate is just a tenth of a point above January as 300 people joined the labor force, all of them with jobs. Accommodation and food services gained 500 jobs, according to E.D.D.
