A reward is available from Secret Witness for the identity of a hit-and-run driver who killed a woman earlier this month in Downtown Burney. At around 10:35PM on the night of March 11th, a 63-year-old Burney woman was walking in the westbound lane of Highway 299 near Hudson Street when she was struck from behind by an unknown vehicle. She was declared dead at the scene. The driver fled in an unknown direction. A $5,000 reward is offered for anonymous tips at 243-2319 or scsecretwitness.com.
